The Digital Pool is another exotic pool to be included in the Woofpool. Like the SportsBox, it involves the last digit in a teams score. Also like the SportsBox, players do not have to be skilled handicappers to enjoy the Digital Pool.
But there the similarity ends:

The Digital Pool runs the entire regular season with one entry fee. Players either pick a team or randomly pick teams out of a hat. The purpose of the game is to have your team use all 10 digits (0-9) in the last digit of their scores throughout the season. The player(s) whose team has used the most digits wins the pool. In 1996, there was only one team that used all ten digits, the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 1995, there was also only one team (answer on bottom of page).

This is an excellent little pool to use along with your regular pool, since the computer does all the work. After players are entered into the pool, there is NO weekly data to enter. The program automatically calculates the number of digits each team has used, along with Digital Pool Player Standings. Since there is only a one-time entry fee, players usually have a large prize to look forward to at the end of the season, so interest is kept high throughout the year.
