How do I know what my POP3 and SMTP settings are?
Every EMail program contains a "Settings" screen where the SMTP and POP3 names are set. Go into your current email program, locate the settings screen, and use these same settings in the EMail Importer.
The Importer is only importing the Pool Members name and the Monday Night Tiebreaker.
You have entered/downloaded scores for these games. The Woofpool will not import picks for games that have been played (you have entered scores). This is to prevent pool members from changing their picks after the game has been played. For more info, click the HINT button in the Import Picks screen.
If I allow partial entries for weeks with Thursday, Friday or Saturday games, what happens if the player re-enters a selection for an earlier game with their later picks? I don't want my players changing their earlier picks.
Read the answer above. Once you enter scores for any NFL game, the program will stop importing those picks. You don't need to recreate your picksheet without those played games.
I want to keep my regular email separate from my incoming pool picks. Are there any free POP3 services available I can use for my pool?
There are quite a few available. You can find one by clicking this link.

The Point Spreads aren't showing on my picksheets.
For point spreads to show, you must sort your picksheet by Fav/Und, not Home/Away.
Why can't we download point spreads?
Two reasons: 1) Most pools use their own local paper lines. 2) The most important reason: Even if given a chance not to import lines, if a pool manager accidentally chose to import, he would lose the lines he is currently using. For point spread pools, this would be a disaster.

Where is the Still Alive Feature?
The Still Alive feature is automatically shown when there is only one game remaining on the weekly card. For example, after all the Sunday game scores have been entered and only the Monday night game remains to be played, you will then see who is still alive for that week.

Why are the NFL stat screens empty?
When you import the NFL scores, you also need to download and import the NFL Ferret stats. While the NFL scores are available right after game time, the stats usually take 3 hours to compile.
I've been downloading and using the Ferret Weekly picks and I am now in last place in my pool. What gives?
Choose one answer from the following list:
- The Ferret usually takes 21 weeks to "warm up".
- I didn't want to give an unfair advantage to pool managers.
- You didn't read the bottom of the picks screen: "These picks are for entertainment only."

Can I run multiple pools?
The short answer is yes. You can run as many pools as you want. Just create a new directory on your hard drive for each pool you want to create, and copy Woofpool.EXE and 2002.NFL into the directories. For listings of other files you might want to copy, consult the FAQ section of the Woofpool Help File.
Runtime Error 380
Either the installation did not install all the DLL's correctly, or they became unregistered on your PC. In either event, you need to re-install the Woofpool (preferably using the FULL install). You will not lose any Pool or NFL data.
I've read a lot of posts by Dr. Detroit on the Woofpool Discussion Board. Is this guy real?
The answer from the Detroit Police Dept, psychiatrists, neighbors, and concerned loved ones was unanimous: Unfortunately, Dr. Detroit is a real person.
